Individual Therapy

Therapy can be a place to finally exhale. Whether you’re navigating postpartum changes, relationship stress, trauma, anxiety, identity exploration, emotional overwhelm, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, individual therapy offers space to slow down and feel supported.

Sessions

Individual sessions are 55 minutes and available both in-person in Carlsbad and virtually throughout California. In-person therapy is offered in a calm, supportive space designed to help you slow down, feel grounded, and fully focus on yourself. Optional on-site childcare is available through our partnership with The Cove for an additional cost.

Fees & Payment

We believe understanding the cost of therapy should feel clear and straightforward. Therapy Turtle offers several payment options to help make care as accessible as possible.

Insurance

We are in-network with many major insurance plans. When using insurance, your cost per session will depend on your specific benefits and may include a copay, coinsurance, or deductible. Because every plan is a little different, we encourage you to reach out with your insurance information. We’re happy to help you determine whether your plan is accepted and better understand what your expected cost may be before getting started.
 
Private Pay

Our standard private-pay rate for individual therapy is $175 per 55-minute session. Private pay is available for clients who prefer not to use insurance or whose insurance plan is not currently in-network.
 
Out-of-Network Benefits

If we are not in-network with your insurance plan, you may still have out-of-network mental health benefits. Superbills can be provided upon request for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement vary by plan and cannot be guaranteed.
